Great article Joe! I work with entrepreneurs and physical product startups for a living, albeit with a factory that manufactures their physical products, and I can say you hit it out of the ballpark.
From a manufacturer’s POV, we very much think like investors. We are looking for startups with a plan, more specifically, startups with oiled and greased sales and marketing machines.
Manufacturers don’t want to spend months or sometimes years developing a product only to have 1 production run — not when it costs the factory time, overhead, and resources.
